MEET THE PHOTOGRAPHER
Welcome, bride to be, and congratulations on your engagement! You must be on cloud nine. I help my couples navigate through a new and exciting season from engagement to their special day. With a love for communicating and an eye for detail, I share what I've learned from photographing over 100 weddings so that my couples can experience the wedding day they've always envisioned.
As an artist at heart, I value good craftsmanship, creating meaningful work, and authentically documenting my couples on one of the most important days of their lives. When I’m not photographing love stories, you can find me watching HGTV, playing frisbee with Willow (my Aussie!), or visiting someplace new with my college sweetheart, Ryan. We're firm believers that the best kind of adventure is one that is completely spontaneous!
I have a fascination with historic architecture (Savannah, anyone?!) a love for being by the ocean, and a serious craving for chocolate ice cream each and every night after dinner. I can't wait to meet you!
Tori is an absolute dream to work with! Upon meeting, we Zoomed to get to know each other and make sure we'd be a good fit for working together. During the planning process, Tori was so responsive and always willing to answer any questions I had. We were planning a NJ wedding from Boston and were able to make it to NJ last minute, and I texted Tori to hopefully come meet us in person and see the venue. She was so quick to get back to us and was able to make a last minute visit work! She helped us put together an initial timeline and plan for the day, which was so helpful since we planned everything ourselves! During the day itself, Tori was prompt, professional, friendly, and so on top of things! She received high praise from family members who said it felt like she and her second photographer were capturing every moment in an organic way. We just got our photos back, and they are absolutely stunning! We can't stop looking at them. Highly recommend Tori for any event, especially your wedding!

the process
I want to hear everything—how you met, funny first date stories, and how you got engaged! This is why I love to start the process with a coffee date. We’ll get to know one another, talk about the details of your day, and answer any questions you might have about working with me and figure out if we’re the best fit for each other. I find that I’m able to best serve my couples when we truly click!
If we are a great fit, the next step is to reserve your date with a signed contract and a 33% deposit. From there, we’ll begin planning your engagement session! There might be a few months in between your session and your wedding, but I’m always around to answer questions you have throughout the planning process. I know it’s a lot to think about!
About two months before the big day, I’ll check in again with a pre-wedding questionnaire to help me finalize the timeline, create the family formal shot list and to make sure I’m fully prepared to photograph your wedding. After the wedding, I’ll edit the images and upload them in an online gallery that will be available to you for 10 years. You can expect to receive your images between 4 and 6 weeks after your wedding.

The Wedding Experience was designed to encompass what most of my couples are looking for. However, since one size doesn’t always fit everyone, I also offer a la carte options if you’d like to create your own customized collection.

engagement sessions
Being photographed can feel a little awkward! I do this for a living and I still always feel a little out of place when I have new portraits taken each year.
I’m a big fan of engagement sessions for a few reasons. First, they allow you to get comfortable in front of the camera! It takes time for most couples to warm up to being photographed and understand my posing style. Timelines can be pretty tight on weddings days and 30 minutes may be all we have for portraits - which is why I’ve found that wedding day portraits turn out so much better when couples do engagement sessions ahead of time!
Second, you can showcase your personalities in a more casual setting that is significant to the two of you (and even include pets!) While they’re great for save-the- dates, I’ve taken engagement photos anywhere from 18 months in advance to a few days before the wedding.

Fantastic! To reserve your wedding date, I’ll need a completed contract and a 33% non-refundable deposit. If you don’t have a contract yet, just let me know and I’ll send one over! The remaining balance will be due 30 days before the wedding.

How many photos do your galleries typically include and can we print the photos ourselves?
The exact amount varies from wedding to wedding, but all galleries generally represent 75-100 images per hour of time spent photographing. Your online gallery will come loaded with fully-edited high resolution images you can print anywhere. You’re also welcome to share your wedding photos on Facebook and Instagram.

When do you charge travel fees?
I typically add travel fees on to any wedding outside of a 60 mile radius from my home in Morristown, NJ. Fees vary depending on location so ask me for more details.
